We recommend this book: Long before we launched our wholesome children's bookstore - this book went in my son's very first Easter basket. It's a classic! Every child loves the story of Peter Rabbit and Mr. McGregor. This story comes in a small board book version (above) - but also look for the large board book version in our shop! The large one would be hard to fit in an Easter basket, but it's a really fun shape!

We recommend this book: Originally published in 1963, this sweet book follows a little bunny as he observes spring, summer, fall and winter. Observation and joy are the traits that come to mind. This book comes as a hardcover Little Golden Book and also in a fun board book size - tall and narrow!

Precious Moments: Little Book of Easter Blessings (0-4)

We recommend this book: I adore all things Precious Moments and had to include this beautiful book in our Easter collection. It's a small padded board book full of poems, Scripture and prayers. The poems cover springtime, who Jesus is, the cross, what Easter is about, etc. They also cover things like dying Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies.

For younger children, you can simply read the short prayer beneath the illustration on each page. And for older children with a longer attention span, you can read the verse and poem too! The size and adorable illustrations make this an easy book to cherish by little girls.

This little board book is full of vintage charm and lovely illustrations. you can never tell what might happen on Easter. From hot cross buns on Good Friday to colored eggs in your shoes or in your best bonnet. This story is a sweet one for littles.
